The Digital Humanities 2009 conference hosted by the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities (MITH) at the University of Maryland in College Park, USA was the annual joint meeting of the Association for Computers and the Humanities, the Association for Literary and Linguistic Computing, and the Society for Digital Humanities.

What? We need a better understanding of how people manage digital collections on their laptops, pdas and home computers. This is important due to the transition from paper-based personal collections to digital collections.
